Provide Education in Our Learning Centers

Very few homeless adults who join City Union Mission’s recovery programs know how to use a computer. Many have not completed a high school education while still others cannot read at all.

Our learning centers offer recovery program residents individualized, adult education opportunities through computer-enhanced, self-instructional curriculum. Students take courses such as learning skills improvement; reading, writing and math improvement; high school completion; GED preparation; and computer literacy training.

Your gift of $75 makes it possible for us to supply each person with workbooks and other classroom materials, and provides the Learning Center with computer equipment, printers and copiers.

Suggested Gift: $75
