Live Nativity Brings Christ to the Inner-city
December 6–8 and 13–15, from 4–6 p.m., men enrolled in the Mission’s RECON program will remind folks of the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of God’s Son who was sent to save the lost. At 10th and Troost, in the heart of Kansas City’s drug scene, men who once battled their own addictions will don shepherd’s cloaks and kingly robes and stand humbly in a makeshift stable. Passersby can’t help but pause as those whom Jesus came to save pay homage to Him.
