Men’s Ministry FAQs
Do the men in the Christian Life Program work?
Yes. In addition to attending life-style classes, Bible study and programs in our learning center, CLP men have a regular work assignment at the Mission. Working at the Mission not only helps us, it helps the men develop a positive work ethic. About 90 percent of the men who have been on the program for at least three months faithfully do their work assignments.
It’s hard to imagine homeless men attending classes. How do they do?
Most do wonderfully. In fact, about 60 percent of the men who have been in the CLP for at least three months have learned to be punctual to all their classes and turn their homework assignments in on time.
