Share-A-Meal

Drive dates: Monday, November 7th 2011 - Thursday, November 7th 2013

Please note:  Holidays fill up fast...  However, we provide meal opportunities 365 days a year, as there is no off season and plenty of opportunity! 

Share-A-Meal

Your group can underwrite a meal to serve 100 people at the Family Center (FC), 300 people at the Men’s Center (MC), or 50 men at the Christian Life Center (CLC). Cost per meal is $2/person or $200 at the FC, $600 at the MC or $100 at the CLC. Your group has the option to prepare the meal, serve it and/or clean up. There is a maximum of 18 volunteers at the FC; a maximum of 25 volunteers at the MC or 10 at the CLC (No more than 4 allowed in the kitchens).

Sponsor one or more meals at any of the following City Union Mission locations:

Men’s Shelter – Feed 300 men for $600.
Family Shelter – Feed 100 people for $200.
CLP (long-term recovery clients) – Feed 75 men for $150.

Bring & Serve

Your group can prepare a meal of your choice at your facility and bring it to serve at either facility. Your group will need to bring enough food to serve 100 people at the Family Center (FC), 300 people at the Men’s Center (MC), or 50 men at the Christian Life Center (CLC). The same volunteer maximums apply. We suggest that you arrive at least 40 minutes ahead of your scheduled time in case anything needs to be warmed up.
