City Union Mission’s CELEBRATE HOPE Reach Out to KC’s Poor and Homeless campaign is an effort to raise $2.7 million dollars, nearly half of the Mission’s annual budget, by January 15, 2004. At this time $2,148,156.33 has been donated towards the $2.7 million goal. All (tax-deductible) financial donations are greatly needed and appreciated.

The CELEBRATE HOPE campaign will affect all areas of City Union Mission including their Men’s Center, Family Center, New Life Center and camp for low-income children located in the Ozarks.

A warm place to stay is like a home cooked meal, it is a Godsend, says Terrence who is currently on City Union Mission’s Christian Life Program (long term recovery program). The CELEBRATE HOPE financial giving campaign offers Kansas Citians the opportunity to reach out to those in need in their own community. Funds received during CELEBRATE HOPE will assist City Union Mission to provide food, shelter, case management, counseling, education, training, and children’s ministries 365 days a year. |

| City Union Mission is an evangelical Christian ministry committed to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women and children who are poor or homeless. The Mission has been restoring hope to Kansas City's poor and homeless for over 82 years. Last year, City Union Mission provided almost 292,000 meals for the hungry and over 127,000 beds for the weary. |
