94.9 KCMO Stuff the Bus Live Remote and Drop-Off Locations
June 22, 2006

School will be here before we know it.  And school supply lists seem to get longer each year.  "It’s especially a struggle for low income families," says Dan Doty, Executive Director of City Union Mission. "Kids have to have the right tools to succeed in school."

During the 94.9 KCMO Stuff the Bus school supply drive, you can help collect supplies for about 2,000 homeless and low-income children. Drop off new school supplies at area CommunityAmerica Credit Union locations and Thriftway stores between July 10 and Aug. 6, or donate toward the purchase of school supplies by purchasing a Stuff the Bus coupon at participating locations.

Through Stuff the Bus, kids from income-qualified families will receive a backpack filled with the tools their children need to succeed in school.  A list of needed supplies can be found here.
