Sunday, April 17, 2005 On-site registration is from 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.; walk/run starts at 8:00 a.m.; kid’s quarter mile starts at 9:10 a.m.; awards are at 9:30 a.m. |

Shoe Tree: Everyone is also encouraged to contribute to the first-ever Tennis Shoe Tree for City Union Mission. New or “gently worn” men’s, women’s, and children’s tennis shoes that are donated will go to homeless individuals in Kansas City. Bring shoes to the event, or drop them off, now through April 16, at Smoothie King, located at the northwest corner of 135th and Quivira, or at New Balance, on 119th Street, east of Metcalf.
All walkers and runners will receive free t-shirts while supplies last.
