A gift from a child is so very precious. The hand-writing reveals this boy’s heart for the poor and homeless. He’s learning two vital lessons. One is how important it is to share and how to care for those less fortunate. Second, that he has the ability to make a difference, no matter what his age is or how small the gift. This father is building his son’s character, and at the same time showing him his worth. How neat is that!
Acts 20:35 (NIV) “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”
Isaiah 11:6 (NIV) “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.”
