Pastor Clay Bowlin of Northwest Bible Church, in Kansas City, MO, heard about City Union Mission’s ongoing request for Bibles and thought they could help out. He asked his congregation for a love offering that would be given to City Union Mission for the purchase of Bibles. So for 4 weeks members opened their hearts and their pocketbooks, pouring out their love.
Adam Mosser, Church Relations Specialist said, “After Pastor Bowlin came to one of our Pastor’s luncheon, where he learned about our ongoing request for Bibles, he gave me a call. It was so encouraging to hear that they had done. God is so good! It’s amazing to see the many different avenues that God is using to have the Christian community partner with us. When I talk with Pastors and our church ambassadors I am the one blessed.”
Dan Doty, Executive Director said, “We provide Bibles to all the men, women, and children who are participating in our various ministries. Donations of this sort allow us to purchase the type of Bible we need for a specific ministry. We are grateful for their partnership with us. Every donation is vital. It takes many working together to keep City Union Mission effectively reaching out to the poor and homeless in Kansas City with food, clothing, and the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for helping us put the pieces back together!”
