| CACU partners with City Union Mission to ensure all students have the tools they need to succeed |

| What: |
For the fifth year in a row, Community America Credit Union (CACU) will deliver school supplies to City Union Mission. Two thousand low-income children will receive supplies throughout the year. CACU holds contests among their employees every year to see who can collect the most items. Their prize is a chance to volunteer at City Union Mission’s Family Center as school supplies are distributed to families.

Stuff the Bus, a program designed to ensure that all local kids have the school supplies they need, is made possible by CACU, KCMO 94.9 radio, and Thriftway partnering with City Union Mission.

“No one can do any job right without the right tools,” said Dennis Pierce, the chief executive officer of Community America Credit Union. “Kids need tools, too, beginning with a sharp-looking bag full of new school supplies. Together, we can ensure all students in our community start the school year on an even playing field,” said Pierce. |
