“United Missionary Baptist Church has been faithfully serving meals at City Union Mission’s Family Center once a quarter since 2002,” Pat Brodnax, Informal Volunteer Administrator, reports. “Each time they come they bring between 5 to 7 people. They are a wonderful group that we have been able to count on.  We are so grateful for their service.”

United Missionary Baptist Church is located at 2745 Campbell in Kansas City, MO. The Reverend Robert L. Graves serves as Pastor. His wife, Deloris, is the current organizer of the effort and said:

This has been our 3rd or 4th year to do this. I thought I knew what goes on at City Union Mission. But Pat set me straight. She taught me all the things that go on. I had no idea. It’s overwhelming.

Pat got me so excited that I came back to speak with the women at our church about the tremendous work that City Union Mission is doing. But I want Pat to come back and speak with them too so that they will be as excited about City Union Mission as I am.

We haven’t even scratched the surface of what we can do.
