The Primetimers Sunday School class, at Colonial Presbyterian Church, considers ministry key. Once again they are teaming up with City Union Mission.
This time the Primetimers have decided to help underwrite some of the ministry needs for the Mission's camp in Warsaw, MO, Camp CUMCITO. The Primetimers raised $963.00. This will help cover some of the expenses so that over 450 low-income urban children can have a camp experience, where they will be loved on and ministered to by caring staff and volunteers. For many it is the first time they have been out of the city, and it may be the only opportunity they have to hear about Jesus.
Travis Bradburn, Camp Administrator said, "A one-week camp experience can change a life. We see that happen every year."
Camp helps prevent homelessness in the future. It gives kids hope. Thank you Primetimers! You are truly an inspiration," said Adam Mosser, Church Relations Specialist.
