(KANSAS CITY, MO) On Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, 2005 Hy-Vee will partner with City Union Mission to collect food for Kansas City’s homeless and poor through the sixth annual Stuff A Truck event.
Customers may pick up a $5 or $10 voucher at all area Hy-Vee stores and take it to a register with their other purchases.
A portion of the donated food will be delivered on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. to City Union Mission’s warehouse at 1020 E. 10th St., Kansas City, MO (corner of 10th and Troost).

City Union Mission serves 280,000 meals a year, including almost 43,000 in November and December alone. The Mission also distributes 400 food baskets around Thanksgiving.
Stuff a Truck is made possible by area Hy-Vee stores, Pepsi, and KCTV 5.
