Cricket Sales Manager Thankful for Opportunity to Serve
November 29, 2007

Cricket Communications recently provided cell phones and staff to enable nearly 200 poor and homeless to call their family for Holidays. You can read all about it by clicking here for the story.

Kenny Neff, Retail Sales Manager for Cricket Communications’ Kansas City Market, said, “I want to thank you for giving us the opportunity.  What you and your team do on a daily basis cannot be measured, but know that rewards await you.  I have always wanted to assist in some fashion those whom are less fortunate.  And last night was a great opportunity, not for any press we received, but to see the difference that can be made in a human life…a life that some want to run away from because of fear and judgment.”

”One young man last night called home so excited that he was talking on a "cell phone"; a simple joy that meant as much as the calling home. Another young man placed a call to his pastor of all people.  And yet another just dropped a line to a friend, wanting to say "Hi" and to let them know they had inspired him.  What you do goes unnoticed by so many.  These men and women may go back out into the world and fall victim to that vice that put them where they are.  But I know the foundation you have laid, and with conviction in their heart, they can overcome any obstacle that lies before them.”

”So with that said I wanted to Thank You, and let you know that our time was as much for us as it was for your mission and its tenants.”
