Last week Lorraine Minor pondered how we would serve all the families that were coming in, depending on City Union Mission for their Christmas. “What a difference a day can make. Friday morning our shelves had many bare spaces. But then God did it again! He brought about another miracle, proving once again how He loves the poor and homeless even more than we do. We knew He would take care of our families, but it’s always a thrill to get to witness how and when He does it, and who He will use.”

The donors included Maranatha Christian School, Premiere Global Services, the Kauffman Foundation, Emmanuel Bible Church, several individuals and families, bringing in $5000 worth of gifts.
“Then another blessing! Because of the increased numbers of people in the shelter right now, more pillows and blankets were needed. And to our surprise Comfort Inn dropped off a truckload…another evidence of God's intervention on our behalf.”
