"We are so excited about our very first Radiothon," said Karen Housholder, Media Specialist. "It will be on February 6 from 9 am to 9 pm. During the day the different programs offered at City Union Mission will be highlighted, along with client testimonies. Our aim is to educate listeners and spur them on to action by becoming a Bed & Bread sponsor, with a minimum donation of $15 a month."

"This is the first time we, or Carter, have tried to do a Radiothon. They wanted to find an effective way to partner with us, plus wanted their listeners to know more about City Union Mission. We are hoping this will become an annual event with Carter and that we will increase the number of Bed & Bread sponsors while increasing awareness in the community."
