Donations had significantly slowed down after Christmas! In response, Lamar Outdoor Advertising had several digital billboard spots featuring City Union Mission in the effort to help raise awareness to the community that we were still in need of donations for the Celebrate Hope Campaign. This amount changed everyday as new donations came in. With the technology of the digital billboard we were able to bring the community the most up to date information on the progress.
"Our goal this year was to raise $3,500,000, half of our cash budget by January 31, 2008. We didn't make that, but are trusting God to bring us what we need. Please bring this before the Lord each day in your prayer time and prayerfully consider making a donation. You are God's Plan for the poor and homeless." said Dan Doty, Executive Director of City Union Mission.
