"Let's help the homeless!", said KC Campus Committee at IRS. They sponsored a drive in January to collect items that City Union Mission goes through regularly. All of the employees particpated in this drive and came together to assist in helping the homeless get back on their feet.
Jeanne Baker, program analyst and FLRP administrator for the IRS organized a group during the Christmas Season to help decorate the shelters at the Mission. "We enjoyed the opportunity to give back and help those that are less fortunate, so we put together this drive to partner with the Mission again and provide basic necessities for the poor and homeless," said Jeanne Baker.

"We look forward to their continued partnership", said Shawna Ketter Corporate Relations Specialist. "It was exciting to see the whole van full of donations of hygiene items and food. These basics will help the Mission stretch their donation dollars even further to continue to provide for men, women and children in need."
