It has been a very exciting time here at City Union Mission. Last year we witnessed 368 people give their lives to Jesus Christ. We are so thankful that God is doing a great work here.  These men, women and children who have eternal hope now need to be fed, not just physically, but spiritually also. Lenexa Baptist has come through in a mighty way. Over the past two months, they have donated hundreds of new and used Bibles, and other Christian resources.

Brian Rothrock has been in charge of collecting and bringing the Bibles down to City Union Mission. Once he received the email that City Union Mission was in need of Bibles, he began posting it in the church bulletin. After it had ran for a few weeks he shared the need with each individual Sunday School teacher. Many classes began to respond as well as individuals.

“It is amazing how the local church rallies for a need like this,” exclaimed Church Relations Specialist, Robert Christian.  “They are making an eternal impact on many lives in the Kansas City Community."
