On June 8th, the Kansas City Brigade Indoor Arena Football team partnered with City Union Mission for the "TP the Brigade" for City Union Mission drive. The mission goes through 5,800 rolls of toilet paper at all of it's facilities. The total amount that came in from the pre-game remote, group challenge and game day was 2,000 rolls of toilet paper and $400 in cash!

City Union Mission challenged all groups to see who could donate the most toilet paper! The winner was....Disciples Sunday School Class of Community Covenant Church of Lenexa. In the first ever "TP the Brigade" for City Union Mission Group Challenge this group collected over 765 rolls of toilet paper. They had their name announced during the June 8th Brigade game at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
"City Union Mission is an arm of the church that is reaching out to those who are in desperate need, not only physically, but spiritually as well," said Robert Christian, Church Relations Specialist. "When the local church partners with us they can experience being a major piece in putting the lives of the poor and homeless back together. We are always grateful for their partnerships, and especially want to thank Community Covenant Church of Lenexa."
