Thousands of homeless people find shelter from the streets through the Hotline for the Homeless, a service of City Union Mission. Men, women and families call the Hotline at 816-474-4599 to find out which Kansas City shelters can provide temporary shelter for the night. The Hotline, a free service, works with other shelters to provide accurate information 24 hours a day.
